How to make the iPhone work on Wi-Fi without paying for a plan?
I got my iphone taken away, but i still have my old iphone that we took off the plan so i could get my new one. I was wonering if i could just hook that up to Wi-Fi, and use apps such as kik and instagram FOR FREE. My basic question is, can i hook my old iphone tjhats "shut off" up to Wi-Fi and use it for the apps and not pay anything?
As long as the iPhone had been previously activated before, then yes.
Once an iPhone has its service ended, it basically becomes an iPod Touch.
You can use Wi-Fi there's a website called textnow where you can get a phone number and text when you have Wi-Fi out from laptop of course
Yes, as long as it has Wi-Fi and you know the pascode. You can use the internet where ever there's Wi-Fi. If you need internet anywhere, get a freedompop:

Wi-Fi is not connected to a mobile data plan, so if the iphone is activated, then yes you can use it as an ipod touch basically on Wi-Fi with all the apps.
- Using an AT&T iPhone on AT&T without paying for data plan? I have an iPhone 4 a friend gave me for Christmas and I was looking to use it without data and just be able to go on the Internet when I have Wi-Fi, is there a way maybe if I factory unlock it that AT&T will not charge me for a data plan when I put my sim card in?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Is an Iphone worth paying 30 dollars a month for the data plan? So i'm a sophomore in college and i don't even have a smart phone. It feels like almost everyone has a iphone and feel like i'm missing out. I have an upgrade available through AT&T but my parents don't want to pay for a data plan. They said for my birthday in two weeks they are willing to get me an iphone and a year of data, and then i could just get my data plan renewed each year as my birthday gift. Do you think it is worth it? I'm thinking yes…
- I have more than 5GB of iCloud used, and I pay for the 50GB plan, I don't really want to keep paying it. I don't want to lose my pictures th? I have more than 5GB of iCloud used, and I pay for the 50GB plan, I don't really want to keep paying it. I don't want to lose my pictures that I keep on my shared photo stream though. If I stop paying for iCloud will my shared photo stream pics/vids still always be available (forever)? Why do so, w videos and pictures not load on shared photo stream, does apple delete them? Where'd they go? I like google pictures to store my photos, but it's not HD. I have iPhone 6+
