How to play music through my Sony sound system?
I purchased a standard auxiliary cable from Best Buy as well as a 1/8 to 1/4 converter for plugging into the headphone jack. My question is how do I go about playing music from my computer/iPod/iPhone using the auxiliary cable and/or the converter plug? Just as a side note, plugging in the auxiliary cable to the converter and putting it in the headphone jack alone didn't work at first.
I'm pretty sure that. Not the right way to connect them even it it[was possible, your ipod or phone would need to have an output pot that plugs into an input in the back of the stereo system.a headphone jack is to connect to speakers in the headphones or any aux speakers that are amplified, not to plug into a stereo system.
without you saying anything about what sound system you have or if it has an ipod dock or not I can't even say if you can do what you want, if it has an input that's usable it would be a standard 3.5 mm jack or on the back have connections for red/white audio cables.
my advice is buy a proper ipod or mp3 speaker set or a stereo that has can use bluetooth streaming of music
- Why Do I Have To Click The Sound Thing On Instagram To Play The Sound? For some reason the sound hasn't been working on my iPhone for Instagram. Someone said to click on the moving sound bars on the top right of the video and that it will play sound. Well, it worked. But my question is why the hell should I do that? Can't it just automatically play?

- Sound will not play through iPhone 5 speakers I plugged my iphone in to my toshiba computer to charge when i got a text. It made a glitchy sound and now no sound will play through the speakers unless i suck on the speaker, and even then it makes a scratchy sound of the song i'm playing. Please help! I want to find out if i can fix it without bringing it to the apple store.also, i got the phone for free with my cel phone company so i'm unsure that they will give me another one for free.
