How to put my iphone 5 on roaming?
I'm on EE, I'm from the uk and going to Italy for a week. How do I insure my phone works and I get signal over there? Do I need to put it on roaming, if so, how?
As to getting your phone to work on overseas networks, give your local provider a call. They will likely tell you to unlock your phone (which should be free for iPhone) and put an Italian SIM card in.
As for roaming, yes you will need it. Go to Settings>General>Cellular (make sure cellular data is on) and enable Data Roaming.

- Should I keep data roaming off on my iPhone? Should I? I'm in my home country and currently utilising my Wi-Fi, which is the only time I usually access the Internet anyway. As long as my data roamings off that means I'm not paying ANYTHING right? So should I keep it off?
