How to put photos, contacts, etc from old iPhone to merge with new one?
My old iPhone is iPhone 4 and does not have iCloud, I would have to update it using iTunes but how do I take photos contacts and notes from the old iPhone 4 and add them somehow to my iPhone 5s. Do I use iCloud?
You could connect it to a computer and transfer your files to your new phone.
@Daniel that or use the cloud, I believe as long as you use the same itunes account or apple id anything you save to the cloud (in options) will be on your new phone.
I think the best option would be to use Icloud because it would be much easier and it saves all your apps and photos and everything including your background and lock settings if you have them. I had to do this once to reset my phone and i didn't loose anything.
You can backup all the stuff you need from your old iPhone first, then restore them to your new iPhone 5S. You can use iCloud to do it. But I do not like iCloud or iTunes, personally, I'm using free iPhone backup&restore tool, Syncios, to do the job.
