Transferring contacts, photos etc from iPhone 4 to 6?

- Transferring Iphone contacts between different IOS? Alright, so I backed up my phone on IOS6 and upgraded to IOS7. When I plugged in my phone with IOS7 it deleted my ios 6 back up. Now I want to go back and it says that my backup is only compatible for IOS7.
