How to reach the bottom of a vent?
My husband had the dash apart of our S10 truck putting a radio in, the center vents were uncovered, he was using his phone as a light… And dropped it in there. He can't reach it with the dash off. It's an Iphone. Is there another way he can reach it?
The duct work(tubing)for the vents runs downwards towards the floorboard and connects to the large black plastic housing under the dash.You'll have to access that duct and disconnect it from the actuator area.
A coathanger with doublestick tape on it might work… You'll need something long, flexible and a Bent coathanger with 3M doublestick tape stuck on it… Stick to the phone and SLOWLY pull it out. Since it's a plastic case I don't see any other options, Get a small LED flashlight to see also. Make sure the tape sticks to the phone before you pull it up… Easy does it… Or you'll be calling a mechanic!
One way of reaching it is calling… Look get a metal coat hanger and make a small loop wrap it with duct tape as much of a sticky side out and go fishing. Please don't use another iphone as a flashlight.
- Wi-Fi won't reach my room anymore? We have one router in the living room and I have to sit out there next to it to use Wi-Fi, it used to work in my room just fine but just stopped. - Why does my phone take 2 calls to for it to reach my phone? I have an iPhone 7 plus. When someone calls the first time. It goes straight to voicemail. But after the second time, it finally reaches my phone. Is there anyone way to fix it so that it reaches my phone the first call?
- Should the iPhone lifeproof case bottom port be a little loose? I feel like it isn't as secure as it should be and when I submerge the phone and take it out of the water it seems as I though a little tiny drops of water got on to the yellow guard? Also I can push on the bottom port and it goes up but then returns to origanal postion? Normal?
