How to restore by contacts on an iPhone 5?
My phone was recently stolen and I got it back today. The girl who stole it reset my phone which deleted all my pictures, contacts and such. Is there any way to get my contacts back? I never hooked up iCloud. Can it be done through iTunes?
Yes, you can do it through iTunes if you ever backup you cantacts with iTunes.
1.Run iTunes and connect your iPhone
2.Wait until iPhone appears within iTunes
3.Right-click on the iPhone icon and select "Restore from Backup"
4. If you recently synced iPhone with iTunes or backed up iPhone via iTunes, you will have several backup entries to choose from. Select the latest backup entry appearing under the most recent date and click "Restore"
5.Warning: restoring iPhone contacts from backup via iTunes will delete any media tracks currently existing on your iPhone and will overwrite contents on the iPhone with the contents from the iOS backup file
6. After the restore is complete, you will recover iPhone Contacts from Backup File
- Will i lose my iphone contacts if i restore to factory settings? I have to restore to factory settings because of a really annoying problem related to downloading apps, will i lose my contacts if i restore to factory settings?
- Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs? I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
- Restore contacts for iphone? Need help please. I broke my iphone 4and have had to buy a replacement, when i tried to restore my contacts i accidentally hit back up on my new phone and now can't find all my old contacts. Is it possible to still find them or will they now have all been erased and replace with basically nothing as new iphone was blank. - My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
