How to share hotel Wi-Fi to gaming console via Android/iPhone?
Some hotels have a login passkey or otherwise login verification that you need a browser to access, -not- WPA/WEP security keys. For some reason I'm unable to pass this "login" on a console (Xbox 360, PS4), yet I'm able to do so on my iPhone/Android tablet via their browsers.
Sans using a laptop, is there any way I can use to share a Wi-Fi connection through my iPhone or Android tablet without using my data plan?
For most hotels, you don't want to do this as their speed is a joke, a MAJOR joke. Many pay for a T1, which for hotels, is seriously too slow. For those that do have the speed, there are options.
One is to get something like this http://www.dlink.com/us/en/home-solutions/connect/portable-routers/dir-506l-shareport-go That is a portable router. It can create a hotspot for you from the hotel signal. You still need to log on but only once, usually.

I need the Wi-Fi password very badly. I tried to contact the front desk, but the phone isn't working! Please help. Sorry, it's too late for that. But we're about an hour apart and he has an Android while I have a iPhone. There's lots of great of apps to stream songs you select to people but it seems that they're all limited to the kind of phone you have… There aren't any cross-platform music streaming apps… That we know of. - IPhone 5 isn't finding hotel Wi-Fi. Any suggestions? So I'm at an airport hotel. A Hilton if it matters. I'm in my room and my macbook found the hotel Wi-Fi network with no problem. So i tried to find the Wi-Fi network on my iPhone and it isn't finding any network, even though my macbook is connected to the internet. So why can't my iPhone find the network?

Hello… So i'm at Seneca hotel and i connected my iohone to the Wi-Fi for free without any passwords and when i went to the lobby and then came back to my room in floor 20 my phone won't connect to the Wi-Fi i tried and turned my phone off and on again but it did'nt work. I don't know what to do i really need internet on my iphone, help please.
