How to stop police from finding information on your iphone?
Hi I'm involved in a case and I have chucked away my iphones and they are no longer in use there's no SIM card in either of them but I have kept one sim at my girlfriends house as that is my contract. I have changed the number on It though but I really don't want the police to find information some how on my phone? How do I stop that from happening
The good news is that both iOS and Android phones and tablets come equipped with native data protection. To enable it on Android, first go to Settings > Security > Encrypt Device. From there, just enter a six or more character passcode, and the encryption process will begin. It can take over an hour, so you'll want to make sure your phone is plugged in.
- Will game stop track me down? Or will the police come and find me? So I was at a wrestling tournament and when the matches started I was working concessions when I noticed something on the stairs I went up to it and it was an iPhone. I waited for someone to come back but no one did After the tournament I went to GameStop and sold it. If they deactivate the phone will GameStop or the police pursue me?
- When you rest your iPhone, does it stop sharing your location? If you have your location shared with people indefinitely, and you reset your iPhone will your location stop sharing with them/ will they be notified? (When someone stops sharing location manually it says "so-and-so stopped sharing location with you") Or is the only way to stop sharing your location with someone to go into the convo, and go to details and click "stop sharing location"?
