How to tell if someone's iphone is connected to Wi-Fi?
My brother is in an area with great 4g and his phone isn't dead. My Imessages on delivering to him. I'm wondering if he is on a Wi-Fi with no internet or just now turned off his imessaging. I was imessaging him 15 minutes ago and then they stopped delivering. So how can I verify that he is on Wi-Fi or 4g?
Added (1). He has 4g. No question. Is there a way to tell if some1 is on Wi-Fi as opposed to 4g.
IMessage works on Wi-Fi or 4G, even 3G. If the signal drops, the iMessage might "send as a text".
Without actually seeing the phone, no.
If you are looking, the 4G/3G will be in the status bar vs the waves for Wi-Fi.

- Used iPhone is connected to someone else's account? I bought an iPhone forever ago, it wasn't restored, but now I just restored it, and it says I need the previous owner's apple ID, and I have absolutely no way of getting it. What else can I do?
- My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
- My iphone is connected to someone else's icloud account? Someone that I knew gave me their iPhone a few months ago because they bought a new one and since she moved away I lost touch with her. A few days ago I thought it would be a good idea to restore the iphone without backing it up (how smart) and now it's not completely activated because the phone is connected to her iCloud account and I have no clue what the log in information is. Is there any way I can fix this or should I go into the apple store and have them try and fix it?
