How to tell that your iphone 5s dock connecter is broken?
My iPhone 5s has been charging fine since yesterday but when I went to charger it i doesn't work tried turning it on and off, reset it, even factory reset on iphone setting because not even Itunes could even connect/recognize it, so i think its broken how to you tell? I have trying to clean out lint but i see like bend stuff but i don't really know since its a black iphone and my moms iphone is white which i can see clearly… How can i really know its broken?!>?/
The only way to tell for sure would be to take it somewhere (Apple retailer or Authorized repair shop) and have them look at it.
Try using a different charger, but still an actual Apple charger.
My phone was touchy with charging. Had to have something pressing against the charger to make it connect or wiggle the charger back and forth a little to get it to connect. But I used a different charger and now it works fine.
If another charger doesn't work, see if you still have a warranty and try getting it repaired that way.
- Why is my iPhone no longer working on the Bose sound dock with the case on? I was able to use the sound dock with my iPhone 4 case on, but now I have to take the case off for it to connect.
- When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
- Is there a speaker dock compatible with both iphone 4 and iphone 5? I'm looking for a dock/speakers for a Christmas gift. She currently has an iphone 4, but will be upgrading shortly to an iphone 5 so I'm wanting to purchase one that would be compatible with both.
- IPhone 4 dock connecter super thin? So I had never really payed attention to it but my friends dock connecter broke and so I looked at my iphone 4 black dock connecter. And it's pretty thin! Is that normal? I'm kinda like worried about it being messed up, but it still charges and every thing. Also could my 1 year old iphone 4 last me through 2 years of high school?
