How to transfer contacts to iPhone 5?
I just preordered the new iPhone 5 today, and I'm not sure on how I'm going to transfer my contacts / ringtones / etc. From my old phone to the iPhone. Backup Assistant isn't available on the iPhone, so is there any other way to transfer my phone's data other than bringing the two phones to the Verizon Store? I ordered the iPhone online, so when it gets delivered, what exactly do I do?
I don't know that ring tones will be transferable. The iPhone likes to sync with the apple programs- contacts, mail and calendar. If you are using a Mac, migrate your contacts into the contacts app, then when you first sync your phone the contacts will be on your phone. If you're using a pc I'm sorry but I can't help you.

- Whatsapp contacts - if they're onnm contacts am I on theirs? I have the phone number of an old friend stored on my iPhone and they also show on my whatsapp contact list… Does this mean that they still have my phone number stored in their phone and also have whatsapp installed on their phone? The chat thing says they haven't been seen since 28th sept? If they didn't have my number on their phone would they still show as one of my contacts on whatsapp?
