How to transfer iphone data to a different phone after its been water damaged?
Guys my iphone 4 has been water damaged and will not turn on even after trying all the fixing methods, I have an iphone 5 with me but i'm wondering if i can transfer storage from the 4 to the 5, if so how, all help is appreciated.
First thing comes to my mind - you should have done backups using iTunes.
Another thing - go to Apple Store and ask if anyone can recover data from damaged phone or find someone who is very good in electronics, maybe he'll figure what component is damaged and be able to replace it to turn the iPhone ON, but I really doubt that you find someone who is going to mess with it.
If the damaged phone does not boot up, you don't.
If they are backed up before you can use whether iCloud or iTunes to restore the data to your 5
- Water damaged IPhone 5s! Been in rice 24hours? It looked much better after being in the rice but now I'm noticing moisture behind the screen. It's like it's creeping in slowly. Is there anything I can do to prevent this getting worse until I can afford to get it fixed?
- Trading-in my water damaged phone to a phone company. Can they see my personal data? So i'm trading in my iPhone 6 for a newer version as it is water damaged (it won't turn on or anything) and my phone company said that they can recycle it. Does this mean that once they get it working, they will see all of my personal information, including photos, contacts etc? I've taken the SIM card out but I'm not sure what this contains.
- My iphone speaker will not work after i water damaged it, is there any fix? I accidently spilled orange juice on my iphone and i thought it was fine as it operated after i wiped it off. I noticed later that i could not hear the other person during a phone call. Are there any fixes to this or do i have to buy another phone out right?
- My iphone 5 has been water damaged how do I fix it? I dropped my phone in some water 2 nights ago, so as suggested by everyone I placed it in the box of rice. However I was in a state of panic and tried to switch the phone on. It is now stuck on a solid red screen and won't turn off. How do I fix this? I would also rather not have to take it apart in order to fix it
