How to use first generation iphone like an ipod WITHOUT sim card?
Is there anyway to just get past the "insert a valid sim" screen so i can put music and pictures and use it like and ipod? I DON't HAVE A SIM CARD! I bought this phone from craigslist and restored it…
Added (1). It is att but no one i know has a sim and its connected to itunes but it tells me to activate the phone
You will need to connect the phone to an itunes account before you can use it without a sim card.
Find some one you know with an att sim (assuming its att)
- Will cutting my sim card work to use as a micro sim card? I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it?

So my UNACTIVATED SIM card just came in the mail and I didn't realize that my PC graphics card is dead, so I can't access iTunes and I would like to know if there's a way for me to use my iPhone 5c as an iPod with an inactive SIM card. Currently, my iPhone 5c is at the setup screen and I can't get past it with my inactive SIM card.
