- Will my dog die after he ate a piece of my cake? My dog has had A LOT of dark, and milk chocolate that he sneaks. Now he got into my German-chocolate coconut cake. I at all of the frosting so it was only the cake part and it was about the size of a charger base for an iPhone. Will he die? He hasn't vomited and I was wondering if he built up an immunity! Please Help! I don't want to lose him. He's a 25 pound, 7 year old, Jack Russell and bull terrier MIX
