I accidentally put my iPhone 6 in the washing machine

It was in there for about two minutes. No I'm not texting on it rn. Yes its in rice. No i did not turn it off… The screen still lights up but it was slowly going out last time i checked before i put it in rice. I took the case off and now I'm here. Will it work again? Any suggestions?

  • My iphone 5s went on a washing machine and it turns on and the screen too but the touch dosent work? I tried putting it in rice and drying it with a hair drier or blow drier everything works except the touch and the screen has a white strap going down and you can see the water or water stains any suggestions
  • My iphone 5 was in the washing machine It was in the pocket of a pair of sweatpants for about 5 minutes by the time i realized i had left it in there the water had just started to run. My phone was wet but there didn't seem to be too much damage. The music still played fine and i could hear people on calls. But then i noticed a screen discoloration in the bottom left corner! Is this bad? Do i need to go to the Apple Genius Bar or to the Verizon store? I'm soaking it in rice now and it is still in warranty.

  • IPhone dongle went through washing machine? I accidentally left the dongle (lightning to aux adapter) in the pocket of a jacket that went through the washing machine. The cord s completely dry, so is there any harm in trying to plug it into the iPhone and an aux cord to see if it still works?
