I accidentally sent the same message twice in a row, is this bad or overthinking?

I replied to this girl I was texting with a short joke (3 lines in length) and I accidentally sent it as an iMessage and then texted it after, so it sent twice to her in the space of a minute.

I've had a problem where messages over iMessage don't usually work and she sometimes mixes her phones between an iPhone, samsung, etc depending on if she breaks it.

Would sending the same message twice in a row within a minute look desperate? Even if it was a mistake anyway? She has double texted me in the past before, as I once looked at my phone and saw the same message twice and assumed she thought the first didn't send.

Overthinking?

Added (1). @ VV - Yeah it was within 30 seconds to a minute as iMessage doesn't always work and the new iOS update turned the feature back on. I ended up writing an excuse on facebook saying that my phone was sending a text as well as an iMessage, so it didn't seem intentional: P

You're just overthinking. I've done that multiple times and have thought nothing of it. Its just an accident, obviously. Unless you send it like 5 minutes later after you sent the first one the other person will not think anything of it.

  • Will my message be delivered if sent as text message on iphone? My friend said that she was having phone problems earlier today. My message was being sent as an imessage, but I guess she wasn't receiving everyone of them, just getting the notifications that they were sent to her but she couldn't read them. I then responded to her, but it was sent as a text message this time and i have gotten no response. I'm not as much concerned about her responding or not, I just want to know if she will receive the message.
  • Should I/can I run more than one day in a row? I'm a pretty-beginnerish runner starting interval training with an iPhone app to run a 10k, and it seems to be working pretty well; however, the workouts are spaced out to every three days, which kind of stinks because I actually want to run. If I run too soon, is the theory here that I won't be giving my body time to rest up and repair for the next workout?
  • My iPhone fell in a puddle of water twice, will it ever be the same? There were two instances where my iPhone fell in water, once, in the toilet for a second and then it a puddle of water on a train platform. It has been working, however, I remember when I first purchase it (a few months ago, the speed was incredible.) Is it normal for the speed to alter over time? Will my iPhone ever be the same? Perform on the same standards as it's suppose to?
  • Is unplugging and plugging in charger to iphone 4s too many times in a row bad for the iphone? For some reason it is become slightly harder to insert the charging cord into the charging port of iphone. So i tested it a few times (6-7) in a row too see for differences. I did not really find anything. Is it harmful to plug and unplug iphone too many times, is it bad for the internal devices and the charging port itself? just too paranoid about my iphone
