I bought a verizon iphone 4 the other day. And i tried to activate it and verizon told me that i couldn't activate it because its already activated with another account. What am i supposed to do? They said that the phone was already unlocked so i'm supposed to be able to use whatever carrier i wish but i'm so confused and i need answers FAST. How can i get this phone working under my own account? I can't put a sims card in it because it doesn't have a sim slot

You need to have it unlocked… You can call your carrier to find out who its locked with… And it has a sim tray located on the side of the phone… Be careful opening it… Use a paper clip if you do not have the proper tool. Some carriers will unlock phones for a small price.

If it's on an account your screwed, plain and simple. As far as the whole unlocked thing. Verizon doesn't lock phones to begin with and your not trying to activate it on a non- Verizon network. So it's lock status is irrelevant. You need to find the liar who sold it to you. In the future verify the phone is ok to activate before you pay for it.

You MAY be able to activate it with PagePlus… MAY! They use Verizon's network but many have luck activating phones with them when there marked as having balances.
