I bought an iphone 4 cdma for verizon used. How do i activate it without a contract?
I bought an iphone 4 for verizon off of Amazon. I need to know how to activate it and just use it as and ipod without buying a contract.
Well you don't need to activate it if you plan to use it like a ipod touch. Just turn on the phone and go to settings and enter your Wi-Fi information. You can still install, download and use your apps as well as use the internet through Wi-Fi. You don't need any cell phone service. The disadvantage is you won't be able to make or receive calls like a cell phone service.
You would have to be in a Wi-Fi area so that you can use your apps, as well as email, and use the internet.
