I broke my boss's iphone charger. Should I replace it?

On Friday I was vacuuming the office before I left for the weekend. When I was going around my boss' desk, I bumped it and her charger cord slipped off of the side and I sucked it up with the vacuum. It's a really powerful machine and the plastic parts on both ends (the usb portion and the part that plugs into the phone) were shattered.

It's definitely not fixable.

It was an accident. Is this a case where I can just apologize, or would replacing the charger be the right thing to do?

And should I tell her what happened, or could I put the new charger in place and act like it never happened?

I would apologize and buy a new charger.

I would tell her and replace it.

Tell the truth, so you don't have to feel bad about the incident.

I definitely think you should let her know what happened and offer to replace her iPhone charger. Like they always say, honesty is the best policy.

Replace it. Leave a note saying "I'm sorry. I broke it"
And act like it never happened.

Purchase another one, and go to her, apologize, and present it to her almost as if it is a gift. She will find it very admirable that you not only apologized for your mistake, but even went out of your way to pay for your mistake, showing that you care and are responsible.

Replace it.

Tell her the truth and offer to replace her charger.

Yes, definitely! Buy one for a few bucks on ebay or amazon.

It is a small thing. The iPhone charger is very cheap. You just apologize and buy a new charger. If you don't tell him, he may won't know it, but you will feel no good in mind in future.

  • My iphone 5 broke, will apple replace it even though it was discontinued? My iphone 5 broke, and since apple discontinued the iphone 5 would they give me a different phone or do they still make them for those who need replacements? I have insurance i'm just wondering whether it would be replaced or not.
  • My iphone broke. Will Apple replace it? My iPhone 5 charging port has broken and it will no longer charge. I'm not sure d it's the charger or the actual port in the phone. I'm still under the one year apple warranty so will Apple replace it? Or somehow help out? Are there any ways to get it replaced for free? Or any way I can get a free one?
  • Is there any iPhone app to spy on your boss at work? I work 3rd shift and most of the time my boss is in his office leaving us to ourselves, but sometimes he likes to get up and check on us I was wondering is there an iPhone app too catch when he leaves his office.
  • I broke/shattered my iPhone screen yesterday and I want to replace it Okay, so some of my friends said that if I go to the Apple store that the replace my iPhone for free. Is this true? I don't have insurance on it, I don't think. Oh, and, if I do go to get it replaced, do I have to back up my stuff on my computer or iCloud?
