I dropped my iphone in the pool?
So I dropped my iphone 4 in the pool and I immediately got it out, dried it off, and put it in rice for 5 days. It won't turn on but when I plug it in the back gets warm and if I plug it in to the computer I get an error 1600 code but it recognizes the phone so I'm just wondering if it will ever work again or if I should just get rid of it? When I asked AT&T about the 1600 code they couldn't give me a direct answer, they didn't know what that meant, even when they looked it up on their system they couldn't explain it.
It's not ever going to be fully functional again. You might as well invest in a new and not so easily damageable phone. Hope this helps.
Can you put your phone into recovery mode?
- My Iphone 4 fell in a pool but not just a normal pool? It fell off my pocket and stayed at the bottom of the pool which was filled with sea water for 10 minutes, is there even 1% chance of it beeing fixed?

- IPhone 4 was dropped in my pool? I got it out and didn't think to turn it off. I had music playing and it stopped. I dried it off and it's been in a bowl of rice since 5. My back camera has water droplets inside the camera (it looks foggy) and my flash won't shut off. My phone was on 75% when I dropped it. It's been 5 and a half hours. Shouldn't the battery have died already? Will my phone ever work again? And how long should I keep my phone in the rice?
- I Dropped my iphone 4S in the pool? I dropped my iphone in the pool for about 2 seconds only about a foot down. I had an otter box on it and quickly took of the case and dried it off. It worked fine til about 30mins ago the home button stopped working and I can no longer charge it. I just the phone 3 weeks ago and was wondering how much it would cost for a new one or the warranty would cover it. I have Verizon if that matters. I'm just really sad that my new phone is ruined.
