I feel that I'm no longer an honest person?
I'm a 19 year old college student. I came to realization that I'll have to pay $3550 out of my own pocket for my second year. I really want to further my education after this and go to university and I have the marks for it. Working and going to school at the same time is so tiring but it has to be done. I used to be the kind of person who would find an iphone on the floor and give it back to the owner. When someone gave me extra change at work by mistake I'd call them back and give it back to them. Now, I end up keeping it. And I do feel so disappointed in myself. I found money and didn't give it back. I feel like being honest gets you no where. How can I change back to who I used to be. Why am I acting like this?
Well that LITTLE voice in your head is saying "Well, at least it's for education". This makes you think it's OK letting yourself keep it. Finder keepers losers weepers right? One action is the most correct and polite one, the other is is OK, you figure out which is which.
You should just sit alone and rediscover your old self and start trying to live like you did:-)
Bc when some one runs out of luck they tend to do what they have to to get by its normal there's nothing wrong with you and being honest in this world any more dosent get you any where its a dog eat dog kind of world now n days.
Conflict. You know it's wrong-- but you know you need the money.
Every person goes through multiple phases like this. You are not always going to be a saint -- like it or not.
You take the money because you need it. Having the money makes your life easier. You can stop if you really want to go through those deep and intense inner wars of "right vs wrong" and "need vs want".In all honesty though, it isn't necessary. As long as you aren't stealing an entire wallet or robbing banks it isn't an issue. If it makes you feel bad, then promise yourself you won't let your sin be in vain. Graduate from college, get a job, and pay off whatever loans you have. Earth is full of serial killers and gangs full of people who are much more horrible and are doing much worse things than the college student keeping a bit of extra change. Just live. No harm done.
- Give your honest opinion on my photo? Please give your opinion and any critique. This was with an iPhone camera only, no editing or anything. I learned the rule or thirds after this… I now have a Nikon D3100, but this was before.
- Be honest is this kinda weird? I have this app on my iPhone & it's like a 2nd "contact book" & I like to keep contacts of people I rarely speak to & various phone numbers from old doctors dentists etc from my previous town just in case I ever had to get a hold of them or needed someone's number. Is this strange? My husband seems to think it's very odd.
- I'm a mind control expert. You will say the word iPhone 1000 times. OK, be honest, did you do that? I'm a mind control expert… You will say the word "iPhone" 1000 times… OK, be honest, did you do that?
- How would it be an iphone commercial, if it was honest? Like if in the iphone commercial they would say all the things that iphones do wrong, such as battery lifetime, etc.
