I have a dead pixel on my iPhone 4S and I want to take it back?
I have a dead pixel on my iphone and I'm taking it back tomorrow to try get a new one, I've had it for less then 30 days but the thing is I have a mm chip taken out the top of the back where the plastic bit hold the glass on to the frame of the phone. Will this make any differents in me getting a new phone back for this one I brought not long ago or will they refuse just cause the small chip? Please help I'm worried also will it be a refurb or a brand new phone they will give back?
Added (1). Could I get my money back from this also and I did go back and ask and they just said make an appointment with them which is tomorrow
Since you only had it for 30 days you should still have warranty, what will happen is that they will try their hardest to fix the dead pixel, they might change the LCD screen. Getting a brand new phone is very unlikely, but in the case that they can't fix it at ALL, then for sure they will give you a new one Although yours has a chip, once again its unlikely theyll give a new one.
If they replace it, it will be with a refurb, but they may not consider one dead pixel a failure.
Don't worry take it to the apple store they will have a look at it replace the entire phone and put all your old stuff from your old iphone to the new one or they will simply fix a dead pixel is covered by the warranty
- My iPhone is dead and I forgot to back up in a while. How. To recover data? I'm concerned about pics and memories not the phone itself I don't remember when was last back up
- I want to take my iPhone on holiday to take pictures, will it charge to use my phone? I'm going to Jamaica and I want to use my phone to take pictures. I will turn off 3G and I won't use it for calls and texts. I was wondering if it will still cost?
- I have more than 5GB of iCloud used, and I pay for the 50GB plan, I don't really want to keep paying it. I don't want to lose my pictures th? I have more than 5GB of iCloud used, and I pay for the 50GB plan, I don't really want to keep paying it. I don't want to lose my pictures that I keep on my shared photo stream though. If I stop paying for iCloud will my shared photo stream pics/vids still always be available (forever)? Why do so, w videos and pictures not load on shared photo stream, does apple delete them? Where'd they go? I like google pictures to store my photos, but it's not HD. I have iPhone 6+
- I have a dead pixel on my iPhone 4S will they replace my phone? I've had my iphone for about 3 weeks now and I've found a dead pixel and I'm wanting to take it back to get a new one. But I've got a minor chip on the back of the phone at the top of the plastic outline bit which holds the glass on the phone, it's not smashed or anything just got a little chip about 1mm big and I'm worried they won't replace it just cause of that? Will they make a fuss about it?
