I installed Windows 7 but I can't connect through a Wireless Connection?

I have a HP computer. First, I was using Windows 8 and I got tired of it, because my computer worked very slow on it. So I downloaded Windows 7 Ultimate using Torrent (And don't tell me torrents don't work and bla bla bla because it worked perfectly to me. I Mounted it using Power ISO and the setup went fine. But when I dowloaded it, I realised that I have downloaded a 64 x bit Windows 7 Ultimate, and I had a 32 bit compressor. On the first place, the icons and everything was too big, and even considering changing the resolution that was the smallest one. Then I was going to log on the internet, but I could see there were no connections. I went to Network and Sharing Center and I saw that Wireless connection wasn't even an option. Then I searched through the internet and saw that I had to download some drivers, but how can I download something when there's no Internet! I tried many USB-s but none of them worked, so I eliminated that chance. Then I tried using Iphone to move some files (Windows 7 Ultimate for 32 bit x) from my Laptop to the PC and I copied the files on an app but I realised I can't move them into the PC (using a charger part) Any suggestions? What should I do?

I think your best bet is to get on another computer and plug in a USB flash drive. Go to hp's website and download all the drivers for your computer that pertain to windows 7 x32 bit. After you get at least the wireless card driver via hp's site or the wireless card's manufacturer site, transfer onto your flash drive and install them on the computer that needs them. Hope this helps!

I pirated 64 bit Windows 7 for my 32 bit "compressor" and I can't get it to work properly.

If HP doesn't have any windows 7 drivers for your computer you might be stuck with 8. If you have a DVD drive try burning the drivers to it on another computer, then install from the DVD. And if this torrent Windows 7 downgrade worked so well, why are you stuck with a junk computer…

The PC you bought was probably loaded with "bloatware." Extra software installed by the manufacturer that's often poorly made resulting in a slow computer. So most likely it wasn't Windows 8 slowing your PC.

I'd call HP and get them to ship a restore disc or just a Windows 8 install disc. They're supposed to provide one upon request but they might charge for the service.

Once you have Windows 8 running again, and it's still slow, then use the built-in Refresh feature. That will eliminate all the "bloatware" but save your personal files. This is what you should have tried before pirating Windows 7.

Anywho, you're missing a ton of drivers. Visit HPs support site and download the chipset drivers for your model number along with the Wi-Fi, LAN, and display drivers.

I'd say save them to a USB stick but that doesn't seem to be working. Does your PC have a optical drive? Perhaps you can use another PC and burn a CD or DVD with the drivers and use that instead. If those don't work then all I can recommend is to wait for the restore disc from HP then do the Refresh.

  • Windows 7 laptop wireless connection problem I restored my computer a day ago because it was bringing the blue screen of death. After the restore, when I logged on and tried to connect to the internet it says no network connection. "The laptop will access the internet with a wired connection only. It now indicates there are no wireless networks to join even though" there's a modem in my house which i can connect to through my iphone.
  • Wi-Fi says I have connection but can't connect to internet? On my iPhone and other phones in the house the Wi-Fi says its connected but when I try to access the Internet it doesn't load. I've turned off the router for awhile and turned it back on. It still didn't work then I reset the router and still doesn't. What can I do?
  • Why can't my desktop connect to our Wi-Fi at home but does connect to moble hotspot? Suddenly my desktop won't connect to our Wi-Fi. All other devices such as laptops, phones and tablets connects just fine. I tried connecting it to my iphone's hotspot and it works. I tried to unistall and reinstall the wireless adapter but still won't work. I also tried to reboot the router and even tried to change the channel but still failed to make it work. Do you have any other way to make it work? I have windows 7 on my desktop.
  • One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
