I just got an Iphone 4S and the battery dies in just about a day?
Last night my phone was at 100% when i woke up at 5:40 the battery was at 60% and at the end of school it was at 6%. I don't know what to do to improve battery life, I've looked through the apple support topics and none of the advice they had was able to help.
Keep brightness low, clear out your multitasking, turn off the Wi-Fi when you are not using it, turn your phone off during the night or keep it on the charger.
Turn brightness down
Despite what the other answer says… Do not turn your phone off at night, that damages the battery. And do not leave your phone plugged in over the night. It is not a computer, only keep it plugged in while its charging. The battery can only hold so much power. Its like trying to blow into a balloon that is already full of air… Eventually it will pop. Everything else that answer said was correct. Keep in mind that if you have the phones Wi-Fi turned on but you are not somewhere that you can use the Wi-Fi, the phone will constantly search for Wi-Fi and that will drain the battery
Of call 1800MyApple and tell the director and tell them to transfer you to iOS. We have a diagnostics report on the phone and will show the condition of the battery, Sometimes they are faulty… If you want to do that, just ask the iOS Advisor you talk to if he can run the report…
If it turns out that there's something wrong with the phone we will replace it for free as long as you didn't drop it in water or crack the screen.
Yes turn brightness down, and turn bluetooth off if you don't need it. Shut down running application that are not needed.
- Will Apple Retail Stores refill stock one day after launch day? If in any way an Apple Retail store runs out of stock after launch day of the new iPhone 6, is there any chance that by the next day there will be new stock already again? Or does sold out mean = sold out for a few weeks.
- My new iPhone 4s Battery dies quickly? I got my white iPhone 4s a few days ago and I feel like the battery runs out pretty quickly… I turn the brightness down and completely shut down all off the applications at the bottom, but I feel like it still doesn't last very long… It'll go from 100 to 65 within a few hours… My sister has the black one and she says hers doesn't die too quickly. Any suggestions?
- My iphone power button got stuck and a day later it died completely? The button was a little sticky and could still work, but then i could not even press it down at all and would have to wait for it to shut off after a minute like it normally does after being inactive. Then on my way to an apple store to get it fixed, the iphone died when i pressed the pause button on my headphones. I tried plugging it into a charger but it is unresponsive.
- My iphone 4 battery dies way too fast? I just got the phone yesterday and today the battery went down way too fast. I charged it last night and woke up to it having like 97%. Throughout the day the battery life would go down very fast. All i was doing on the phone was listen to music (not through Pandora or anything, just the regular way) every now and then. What can i do to make the battery life on my iPhone last longer?
