I just lost an iphone today. Can i buy a new one?
I just lost my iphone today, and on the apple website it says its 199 with a plan. If i buy a new iphone would it also be 199? Or would it mess with my contract and add 2 years from my existing plan. If not how do i get an replacement phone
If you could try to get another idevice like iPod or iPad, you go can go to the App Store and get the free app called "Find my Iphone" login with Apple ID and password then you will be able to track your iphone and send a message to it incase some has it, you will also be able to put a password if not already have one… GOOD LUCK and hope you find it if you want your old one if you don't want to spend more money…

And it won't mess with your contract because you can't change the contract. You have to find your old phone or you will have to buy a new iPhone at full $659 price. No way around that. Worst case, you'll have to buy a used one or a cheaper model on Ebay or Amazon to get by with until you can afford to replace. Hope you find it and had Find my iPhone installed. Best luck.
Let your service provider know that the iPhone was Lost or stolen. They will blacklist the phone so you can get a replacement. Make sure that you have your original sales receipt of that iPhone. They may cut you a great deal (or if you are lucky, they'll replace it free of charge since you are the original owner of that phone).
Also, If you had iCloud on it and the thief restores it, it is unusable since it is "Activation Locked".
