I just updated iTunes and it seems not to recognize my iPhone?

I've also tried to connect my iPad though same result.
It worked fine before I've updated iTunes and I quite use it a lot.

I don't want to restore my iPhone because I have tons of photos, apps and etc…

Assuming that you "authorized" both your iPhone and your iPad, and your Devices are not listed as unsupported by the latest version of iTunes:

You are likely NOT logging into your active iTunes Store Account, meaning either your User Name or your Password is incorrect. And, both Devices also need to use the same Apple ID.

Simple fix: Take your iPhone and iPad to the nearest Apple Store or Apple-authorized Retailer, and they will help you figure out what you're doing wrong.

  • Updated iTunes and now does not recognize my iPhone? A day or two ago I was prompted to update iTunes which I did. Now when I plug my iPhone into my computer, iTunes does not recognize it. How do I fix? Computer does recognize my iPhone. (Trying to copy a photo from my computer onto my iPhone and instructions I googled said to use iTunes)
  • My itunes says it hasn't updated een though I updated it? I went to update my iphone and it said I had to update my itunes first and restart my computer (i have a macbook.) So I did all that and went to try and update my phone again and it still said I had to update my itunes first so I did it again and it is still not allowing me to update my iphone. It still says I need the latest version of itunes. What am I do wrong!
  • My iPhone 5 seems to not be charging at all and stuck on 1% I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 6.1.4 and now it won't charge at all. I have tried different chargers and it seems not to be the problem, I even restored it to its regular factory settings on my computer and it still will only say 1%. I have also let it charge all night on and off multiple times and still, I get the same outcome.
  • Just updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone and it changed my ringtone and don't let me change it back? So I just updated to iOS 8 yesterday, but today all of a sudden my ringtone changed to a ding sound opposed to the original notification noise when I get texts. So I was like okay weird but no big deal I'll just change it back. So I went to settings and sounds and found the original ringtone and chose it. But when I went back out it didn't save. So I kept trying over and over and it still will not save it. It keeps going back to the ding ringtone. Am I doing something wrong? Any help?
