I left my iPhone 6 plus charging all night?
Is this bad for its battery capacity? I've done this about 3 to 5 times
I do it all the time. It's fine.
I do this every single night and most of the day. My boyfriend, an engineer who is up to date on all things tech, says it probably is bad for the battery so don't do it too often. I still do!
I did it one time about a year ago and then I did it every night then after awhile the phone cut off. Don't matter how many chargers I had put in it it still didn't work so my mom took it to sprint because she had insurance to buy me a new one. So if you forget to unplug your charger before bed let that be one time. Because if you continually keep leaving it on all night it will cause problems.

I keep my phone plugged in all night every night. Over charge protection on most devices these days prevent overcharging of the battery, so there's no harm there. Unlike older NiCad batteries, Li-ion batteries do not have to be completely discharged before recharging.

No, it doesn't hurt the battery at all. You can top it off as often as you like.
