I lost my iphone 5, how to tell my parent?

I lost it almost 4 days.
i just used it 4 months, i'm afraid my parents will going to kill me.
up until now i haven't told anything to them.
i'm still searching and hoping i can find it so it is just like "nothing happened"
but as the time goes by, my fear has doubled and doubled.
what should i do?
how am i supposed to tell them?

Yikes! I hope you find it. This is what you tell them: "Mom, Dad, I know that you're going to be really disappointed in me when you hear this, but I lost my iPhone 5. I didn't tell you sooner because I thought you guys would be super mad. But the guilt of lying to you guys was killing me, and I had to tell you. I'm very sorry, mom and dad. I'm still looking for it, and I'll tell you when I find it." Then give them a big hug. Memorize this, and you're good to go!

Try the find my iPhone app just go on icloud.com. If that doesn't work like your phone is off and stuff I'm sorry. Just be honest with them it could be worst, I think that if you tell them you honestly don't remember how you lost it. I got ugg boots stolen with my iPod in the boot out of my locker. I was scared but you know everyone makes mistakes your parents have too ; they may be upset at first but I'm sue it'll be ok

Go up to them when they seem to be calm, not busy, and having a good day so far. You don't want to enrage an already unstable person, because that just spells disaster.
Then tell them to sit down, and that you have something to tell them.
This will make them expect the worst, but the news will be less than the worse.
Next, say "I've been looking for it everywhere, but I haven't found it. I didn't want to tell you that I think I might have lost it, but I don't know where my iPhone is."
They will probably react a little after that, but then say you will keep looking for it, and really want to find it. Just take responsibility for your mistake.
And by the way, have you used the "find my iPhone" app? Because that might help, if you already have another apple device you can access the feature with.

You can download "Find My iPhone" on your other apple device, or go to iCloud.com and log in, and click on find my iphone.
Click on Lost Mode.
or click on play sound, maybe it's in your house.
You can tell your parents the truth. Listen to their lecture, because they're right about it. Say sorry, and tell them you'll never lose it again if it's your first time. If you lost things multiple times already, still apologize. Don't cry.

  • Will a phone company allow me to get an iPhone with no credit? But a parent to sign off on it I'm 18 and I want to get my own phone line on my own account. I do not have a credit score. Will Sprint allow me to get an iPhone without a credit score? Will they allow it if my mom signs off on it?
  • What would a parent like about the iphone? I putting together a presentation for my parents because i really want the Iphone but I need some really good facts to get them hooked i Have offered to pay for phone not monthly but the amount to get it and I need some good facts Please Help!
  • My parent won't give me privacy? They touch my iphone without my permission, enter my room without my permission. When i go to school they read my text message and my facebook. They keep track and Monitoring my what i say, what i post on my facebook. They don't allow me to pot passcode to lock my iphone ( this make them easier to read my stuff!)
  • My contacts keep changing into my parent's contacts? I'm using my Dad's old iPhone 4, so it has all of his data. I cleared out everything that was his but I hate the part where each time my parent's add a new contact to their phone, everything syncs over to my contacts, so I'm scrolling down my list and see a new person I don't know but my parents do. Is there a way to change this?
