I'm receiving my friend's messages?
My friend borrowed my phone and put her SIM card in it at the weekend but when she returned it she took out her SIM card and I put mine back in. For some reason though, I'm receiving any texts she gets from iPhones through iMessage and she's not receiving them so she can't talk to anyone with an iPhone because I get the messages instead of her. Any idea why this is happening or how to stop it?
She is signed in with her apple id to your phone still
Silly billy, it is the Telephone Number that receives the messages, her SIM card assumed Your number, and her automatic Log-In for her emails/mobile phone contacts.
The SIM card is only a Key for access via the providers servers.
Give or sell the phone to her and buy a new one.
What kind of SCAM was she pulling by using your phone anyway…
I Said it before and i'll say it again, ipones suk
Probably to do something with iMessage, make sure your friend didn't accidentally put back their sim card in your own phone.
- Why do some of my messages to my friend not display the delivered message? They don't say delivered or not delivered, it's just blank. The one above it says delivered that I sent two days ago but this one doesn't. This happens fairly often with this friend… I know her phone isn't dead since she's been posting and liking my photos on ig but it still doesn't say delivered under it. She has an iPhone 6s if it helps.
- Why did my friend's messages send twice? I have an iphone and my friend has an android phone and he sent me this one message on regular message and it got sent twice why did it send twice to begin with?
- Receiving text messages on iPad to my email on iPhone? I recently changed my apple ID to my yahoo account. Now, when someone texts my iPad, it not only goes to my iPad, but goes to that email on my iPhone. It hasn't done this before. Anyone know how I can fix that?
- New Sim Card and Receiving Messages? I recently lost my phone (iPhone) and i'm getting a new one in a couple weeks when my contract is up, i no longer have my sim card but the service to the phone is still turned on, once i get a new phone, and a new sim card will i receive text messages that were sent to me in the time period when i didn't have a phone since i will still have the same number, or will i never receive the messages
