I spilt some water on my iPhone and now there's now volume control whatsoever?
It won't turn up for calls or music, I press the buttons and nothing shows up. I tried to do it on the screen when I opened my music but the volume isn't there at all. How can I fix it?
1) Turn it off
2) Put it in a bowl of dry rice for a couple days.
3) It'll start working again because the rice will suck out all the moisture.
I don't think YOU can but try taking it to a specialist or getting some advice online.

This happened to me! I put it in the airing cupboard for about an hour and then restarted it and plugged it into my charger and it started working again. Mine is a Gen1 though, so this may not be helpful…
- Water spilt on iPhone? Will it turn back on? So I didn't realize there was water in my phone till after I plugged it in (it was dying) and I made the mistake of turning it on and playing with it. Then the screen was stuck (like when there's droplets of water on the screen) and it was left on headphones mode. That s when I put it in a bag of rice but IIm still scared that the circuit might be fried or something because I plugged it in.
- Volume control and microphone not working on iphone? I have an iphone 4 & my volume control and microphone is useless on my iphone, it works fine on my ipad but only the music works on my iphone. Is it something wrong with my headphones or is it just that after the major updates iphone doesn't recognize it anymore?
- IPhone volume control problems? I have an iPhone 4, and I recently realized that when I press my volume up and down buttons on the side, my volume WILL change, but I don't see the volume image on the screen. I didn't know if I accidentally turned off something in my settings or maybe my phone broke? It's just very frustrating that I can't see the volume image.
- IPhone 5 not being recognized whatsoever by MacBook? My iPhone 5 will not charge, sync, or let alone, be recognized by my MacBook Pro. I have tried restarting the iPhone, restarting the iPhone's settings, restarting the Macbook, uninstalling iTunes and yet it does not work. Does anyone have some tips which may help me?
