I swam with my iphone 5 for 5-10 min and immediatly put it in rice?
Has been in bowl of rice for about 2 days, will it still work?
I wouldn't think that it would but if you're lucky it could. 5-10 minutes is a long time to be in water. If you're iPhone is backed up on iCloud or on your computer than you can buy a new one and restore it. There's a chance that it will work, but very unlikely. Even if it does, the screen won't work nearly as fast and sensitive as it used to. If you end up getting a new iPhone I would highly recommend a life proof case or an incipio atlas.
Water can't move anywhere in 5 to 10 minutes.
- Will my iphone work after I swam with it in water? I was going swimming and 5 minutes into it I realized my iPhone 5s was in my pocket. It was already turned off. I dried it off and shook it a little bit to get water out, and a half hour later, after buying some rice, I put it fully emerged into a bowl of rice. I did research and 5 hours later put serran wrap on it to keep the rice fresh? My question is, how long should I wait to turn it on, and do you think it will work.
- I swam in a pool with my iphone 4? I swam in a pool for 5 minutes with my iphone 4 with cracked screen is there any hope i put it in bag of rice and if not can i fix it
- I put my iphone in the washer and dryer. I have it in rice. What do I do? The screen is not showing anything but I hear noises if I get a text/email so the phone is on. Is it busted? Could rice help this issue? How do I turn it off? I called the phone and it rings. I can even answer by pressing where I know the slide to answer bar is. The screen just won't show anything. Is this a good development, bad or indifferent?
- I dropped my iphone on the ground in the rain and it still works, should I still put it in rice? It's been thundering the past week and I dropped my phone on my driveway. It was there for no more than five minutes and it works fine, I had it in rice for ten minutes (doubt it did any good lol) should I keep it in the rice if it works fine?
