I turned off my icoud on my iphone, will it damage anything? Do i even need icloud?
Do i need icloud on my iphone?
Ya it backs up your stuff onto your comp when its plugged it and saves everything under your apple ID in general
You can turn it off, thats up to you. You can backup to itunes without it. Even if you turn icloud on, tap backup, then turn it off, you will still have your contacts etc backed up and you can go to http://www.icloud.com/...icloud.com to see what you have backed up.
No, it won't damage anything, and no, you don't need it. It's just convenient for online backups, although you can also back up to your computer. It's also handy if you want to share data across multiple Apple devices. But it's not at all required.
- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
- Why does my iPhone work with safari even when Wi-Fi is turned off? I usually keep the Wi-Fi off on my phone to save battery, and one day I went on safari to look something up. I noticed that it still worked even when my Wi-Fi was turned off. Why is this happening? Does it connect somewhere else, or to the same Wi-Fi even if its turned off?
- Why does my iPhone 6 keep Bluetoothing to my car even when I have Bluetooth turned completely off? Every time I get in my car, (2017 Toyota 4Runner) my phone automatically turns my Bluetooth on and connects to the car and it pisses me off. How do I make it stop doing this?
- Someone stole my iphone and turned it off. Can they do anything with it? I was at a festival and someone swiped my phone and immediately turned it off so I can't locate it with find my phone. I switched it to lost mode and it hasn't been turned on in 2 days… Is there anything the thief can do with my phone or is there anything I need to worry about? And is their any way they can break into the phone or even use it? Just not sure why someone would go around stealing phones with zero benefit besides maybe selling it for parts.
