I wanna play cod ghost online but not sure if i have enough internet?

I live in the middle of no where so i have a satellite internet (hughesnet) which is way to slow for online games. But i was wondering if i can use my iphones personal hotspot but i only have 6 gigabytes a month. I could probably use 2 gigabytes of it to play cod ghost online. How much does cod ghost use of internet data? How long would 2 gigabytes take to get used up by playing in online matches?

Games use relatively low amounts of bandwidth.
Like 10-25KB/s. So it would use probably about 35-75MB/hour of game play. (cod would likely be on the lower end, something like an mmorpg with hundreds of player data on 1 map, or maybe 64man BF4 matches will use more).
So averaging say 40-45MB/hour will give you about 50 or so hours on 2GB of data.

But that doesn't mean you will be able to play games on that. If you are in the middle of nowhere, your cell reception probably is almost as bad, so you will likely be getting like 3G or lower speeds. 3G=dial up which is not even close to enough bandwidth for gaming w/o massive lag.
ON TOP of that, gaming on satellite or mobile internet, there's a HUGE ping (since data is sent form you > satellite or cell tower > provider > game server and back. And using mobile/satellite data its super slow).
So even if you do have enough bandwidth, your pig/latency will be so high, it will likely make it unplayable.
