If i add a texting app to my iphone?
The will allow me to have another number to text, will that change my regular one?

You get a different number some apps have you type your area code so you can get a number in that area and some even give you 5 numbers you can choose from.
No. That number will only work for the texting app, and your regular number will still work for you iPhone's messages and phone apps.
No it won't change it, it will function within the texting app.
Make a google voice. It's an application you can put on the iPhone as well.
I have it on my iPod.
