If i buy an iPhone in America will i be able to use it here in the UK?
Since its cheaper to get a phone in america, if i buy one that is unlocked and bring it back home with me. Will i be able to use it here? If i took it to a phone shop such as Orange for them to put an orange sim in it and use it here etc?
Yes, the american iphones have the required bands so it will work. I know you will at least be able to run 3G, EDGE, and GPRS. However stuff like siri doesn't work cause when i was in england on o2 with an american iphone she would reply "i'm sorry can't search names in the uk".
I'm not sure if it is changed, but it didn't work when I bought iPhone4 in US and used here.
- Travelling to america with my iphone i still want to be able to use 3g? Hi i'm going on holiday for 6 weeks to america soon a don't want to loose contact with my girlfriend so 3g would be quite important to me also i use my phone as sat nav which uses 3g does anybody know and cheap ways of doing it? e.g.using a american sim or something like that any networks?
- Should I buy an Iphone 5s from America and use it outside of America? An Iphone s where I live costs around $600.In America it costs around $199 plus a $70 year contract so it seems more reasonable to order it online from America. If I order it from America what would I need to do and what should I know before ordering an Iphone from America and using it in another country? Besides unlocking the phone, what else do I need to do?
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- If you buy an iPhone in America, can you use it to get service in Japan? And vice versa? I'm moving to Japan and i'm wondering if i should wait to go there to buy an iphone 5, but then they might not let me trade in my iphone 4 which is from America.
