If I Change My iPhone Number?

Would past texts be able to see it?

Here's my dileema: My "ex-girlfriend" is weird & wants something out of me (She's really bi-polar and everytime I talk to her she gets angry & mad & I walk away she's all "Oh, please don't be mad at me, I'm so sorry") so I blocked her
I say "ex-girlfriend" as we never met, we hooked up over Facebook as we're going to the same college over the college app, big mistake
She's a freak, and I blocked her number, but she gave my number I texted her with to a guy who's calling me constantly

If I change my number to a different one, will they still be able to contact me? I mean, like will the "Boyfriend' contact number be changed as well? I want to change my number so they can't find me or contact me any more, is there a way to do that?

When you change your number, only you will know unless you tell other people. Any contact people have you saved as will remain the same unless you text them and tell them you have a new number.

  • Why is my iPhone number being displayed wrongly on my number? My number is X, but on "my number" settings, it's being displayed number Y. Why is that? Also, some people told me that when I call or text them, the number Y is appearing to them, not the number X as it should. On the other hand, if I call the number X, my iPhone rings normally, but the same thing doesn't happen when I call number Y.

However, when I send an imessage it shows the recipient a different number to mine. I don't think this happens when I send a SMS. Presumably it's the original number for the new sim? Why is this?

  • My number is invalid number in viber, I have an Iphone 5s? When I want to setup my Viber on my Iphone 5s it shows an error that says "invalid number", every number that I put is an invalid number. What should I do?
