If I cut my sim into a micro sim will my iPhone 4S work fully?
I currently have a Blackberry Bold 9900 which is in contract but am getting a iPhone 4S. But the sim in a blackberry is not the right sort for the iPhone 4S, so if I bought a 'micro sim cutter' and cut the sim from my blackberry and put it into a 4S, would the iPhone work fully like apps, siri etc and I get all my minutes, data and calls etc…
I never heard of something to cut a micro card chip. I wouldnt risk that.
Yes it will work perfectly, done it to family member's sim cards and they definitely work in iPhones and the Samsung Galaxy S3. I cut it down with scissors, just be careful not to cut the gold part! No need for a special cutter! Here's a template to use so you get it the right size: 
I recommend using a sharpie or biro and marking the outline first.

Definitely works, and all the apps remain fully functional. Microsims can be cut using simple scissors or a microsim cutter, it doesn't matter. Make sure you do not cut the gold part and you're good
Don't listen to people who say they're not sure- it DEFINITELY will work, because i used to have the 9900, and then switched to 4s, and I've cut my sim cards quite a few times, and they do work. Don't worry- before the cutter came out, I had to use scissors, and the SIM still worked!

I've just cut my sim card into a micro sim, Placed it into my iPhone 4s and it states there no sim card in there, They phone was recently unlocked by Telstra and i know it's unlocked because i got a conformation message on iTunes. I would have thought i cut it too small though that same sim card works in my Samsung Galaxy s2 Perfectly? What's the problem and why isn't it working with my iPhone?
