If I jailbreak my iPhone 4S, will I still be able to sell it?
I'm going to be selling my iPhone 4S soon, probably when the iPhone 5S comes out. I probably won't jailbreak it, but if I did, would the value of my phone go down? I would restore it back to its original factory settings before I would actually sell it.
You can sell your iPhone if you do but you will have to reboot it to factory settings. You can't sell it if you download a virus from Cydia though.
Well for some a jailbroken iPhone raises the value.
- Will i still be able to use my iphone in another country without jailbreaking? I bought my iphone4 in japan since i was living there for sometime. But I've moved to a different country now. And I want to use the network provided.i'm still using ios4 and i feel like my iphone has been a lot more slower than it used to. Some tell me that in order to use it in a different country i need to jailbreak it but i want to update it to ios5. Will i still be able to use it if I update it to ios5?
- Will I still be able to use my iphone 5? I bought an iPhone 5 2 days ago. The phone was brand new and never been used. It's on a contract and instead of paying the contract (which isn't my contract its the guy who sold me it) i want to put my own nano sim in it. Will I be able to do this? It is on O2 network and I'm on tmobile so if I get it unlocked will i be able to put my own sim in it without O2 blocking the phone?
- Will I still be able to buy an iPhone 5 from an Apple Store? The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were released today. From what I understand, the iPhone 5C has replaced the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5 will be discontinued. Will the remaining iPhone 5 devices in retail stores be available for sale at a lower price?
- Will an iPhone with NO CARRIER still be able to use iMessage? I had an iPhone 4S, but canceled the plan on it completely. I was with Bell. When I got my iPhone 6S I switched to Koodo, and therefore have a new phone #. For some reason I assumed my old phone would still work for iMessage, and am only now wondering if it won't. Where the carrier is usually displayed, my 4S says "No Service" but is connected to Wi-Fi. Can an iPhone with no carrier still send and receive iMessages from the old phone number?
