If i lost my Iphone 5, is it covered in my insurance with Apple? - 1
I lost my iphone and i was wondering it will be covered in my insurance?
The words Apple and insurance do not belong in the same sentence together. They charge people $100 to get a new screen. However, in this specific case, it would go through your carrier. The only carriers that cover phone loss do so through a business plan where you would the phone through your company for work or something. If that's the case, this is a problem for your HR to bring up with your carrier. Sorry you're pretty much sol unless you've installed an app that helps you find your phone.
I don't think they would cover it free, at least I wouldn't expect them too. Otherwise people would just buy a phone, say they lost it, then get another one to sell. They aren't stupid.
Apple Care + does not cover an iPhone that has been lost or stolen. Only accidental damage is covered.
If you bought insurance on it, it's covered.
- Lost my iphone, claimed insurance but found my iphone. Will both work? My question is i recently lost my iphone 5 (t-mobile) and had already called insurance and am receiving my new iphone5 through insurance. T-mobile had told me that they have lock/blocked my lost phone. But recently my friend had found my phone and is mailing it to me but what i want to know is that will i be able to use both the iphones? Or is the one i lost really locked and unable to use?
- I've lost my iphone 4s and have no insurance but i'm on contract what shall i do? I've lost my iphone 4s and i'm on contract vodafone, but i do not have any insurance i've had it about 4month what shall i do? monthly charge is £36.00 I do not have an ipad to track this, and did not pay for my phone.
- Is a contract iPhone 5 covered by Apple Warranty for the first year? I bought a iPhone 5 handset from Gumtree which was someone's "unwanted" upgrade from 3. But now the speaker has just packed in. Is the phone covered by Apple since it's still obviously under a year old?
- IPhone 5 insurance, lost or stolen? I just got the iPhone 5 with Verizon. I'm paying $10 a month for insurance That covers lost and stolen. Does this mean that since I have the insurance, that if I lose my iPhone, they'll give me another one for no extra fees? Just like that?
