If I use findmyiphone to remotely clear my device will that prevent it from being activated?
I'm selling a broken (water damaged) iPhone and I can't clear it myself because I can't turn it on. The person buying it apparently can fix water damaged phones but they want to activate it when it's fixed. I want to know if I can set my phone to clear when it's connected to Wi-Fi or data (once they turn it on) and that won't prevent them from activating it. I don't want to send them a phone that will be useless when they get it but I also don't want to send all of my personal information to them if they can get it turned on somehow.

It has to be cleared by entering your password, so either you must do that, or you must give the password to someone else so he can do it (not a good idea). Just clearing the iPhone will not eliminate the need to enter your password to reset it.
- My iphone was recently stolen is their any other tracking I can do with the FindMyIphone App? My iphone was stolen… Everytime I try to locate it icloud says my device s offline! Is it possible to track it with my phone number or serial number ANYTHING
- IPhone being remotely hacked? If my iPhone has been remotely hacked without my knowledge (they can see my screen, access my info etc on my phone) will turning it off stop them from seeing anything or gaining access to anything on my phone?
- If you disabled FindMyiPhone to restore your device, will the app be enabled again after the restore? A few weeks ago I upgraded to the iPhone SE and I restored the data from my iPhone 4s onto it. (I had to disable FindMyiPhone in the process). Little did I know that it would be lost/stolen 2 weeks later. Really need to know if FindMyiPhone would be enabled because I want to know if I still have any hope at all finding it. Thanks. I tried the app already… Says it's offline. Been waiting since.
- I want to use an iPhone 5s without a being activated? I'm looking into buying an iPhone 5s 32gb Unlocked but I don't want to use it with a Carrier. Could I just purchase a SIM Card off of Amazon and use it with that? Also I really just want to use it like an iPod Touch. Also please don't say like hey don't be retarded you just buy an iPod, well all I have to say is that I want the iPhone 5s A7 Chip which is really cool so that is why. So if anyone can please help me out that would be nice.
