Capitalism isn't responsible for iPhones, labor is. Labor exists under any economic system.
One of the goals of socialism is to ensure basic needs are met. This means people can be freed from menial labor and pursue creative interests. Ideally, this would result in significantly more innovation.

Steve Jobs sold products and made a profit. That's called Capitalism.
No he would have, the company would be in the hands of the government. The workers would be basically paid a dollar a day and there would be no incentive to do a good job.
