If someone texts me and I'm out the country?
I have an AT&T iPhone and I want to know if someone texts me when I'm out the country, will I receive it when I come back? I know if they have an iPhone I'll receive it when I have Wi-Fi, but what about non iPhone users?
If you're turning off your cellular data, this sounds about right. Sort of like your email inbox filling up all at once. Best luck.
- Will i be charged if someone texts me from another country? My friend took a day trip to Canada yesterday (we live in the us) and was texting me the whole day. She said that since we both had iphones and were using iMessage that we wouldnt be charged, but she had Wi-Fi for a couple hours and while she was using the Wi-Fi she got charged for roaming since she wasn't using 3G. Will i be charged as well? It was in a group chat with two other girls as well and they are also worried. We're all on Verizon 3G plans
- What cell phone, and company, is the best for someone who just listens to music, streams shows/videos, and texts? Cheapest plans/phones? I occasionally talk on my phone, and/or take photos. Also, can I still get the food/ride share apps if I don't have an IPhone? I live in a mid-sized city in the mid-west. (over 100,000 pop. And over 70 square miles)
- Is there a problem with texting someone in a different country? So this person and I are both from the US and have American phone numbers. We both have iPhones so it's iMessage. This person is currently in another country on vacation. We're texting now, but I'm worried if any charges will occur
