If someone uses your personal hotspot of iphone 5 what can they see?
I was using my personal hotspot via USB and then I realised it had 2 connections. I immediately turned it off.
However now I'm afraid because after this I got a call off a blocked number.
If someone hacked into my Wi-Fi from my phone would they be able to see contents such as pictures on my phone?
I'm very scaredz thank you
Well, if your photos are connected to any Wi-Fi related things, then maybe, but if they are just in your library, then I think it's ok. I don't know
Are you using a secure password for your hotspot? This is very important to prevent others from piggybacking off your connection and using it without your permission. On an iPhone 5 you can choose "Turn on Bluetooth" or "Wi-Fi and USB Only".
- Using someone else's Wi-Fi on iphone, can they still see your app history? Yesterday I went to work with my friend and I used the places' Wi-Fi, I'm at home right now and no longer using their Wi-Fi, can they track my history and app history in my iphone even if I'm not using their Wi-Fi anymore?
- Trump uses unsecured personal iPhone that is not even being closely looked after: it was reportedly left on a golf cart at his? Golf course in New Jersey last year, causing 'a scramble' to find it. Lock him up? https://www.thecut.com/2018/10/trumps-private-cell-phone-was-left-behind-in-a-golf-cart.html
- Trading-in my water damaged phone to a phone company. Can they see my personal data? So i'm trading in my iPhone 6 for a newer version as it is water damaged (it won't turn on or anything) and my phone company said that they can recycle it. Does this mean that once they get it working, they will see all of my personal information, including photos, contacts etc? I've taken the SIM card out but I'm not sure what this contains.
- Is hacking someone's personal email and iphone illegal and what are the charges they could get? A few years ago I was battling major depression and was acting rather erratically. I found out that my company was investigating me because they were under the impression I was doing something illegal. Which I wasn't. Just wondering if its legal for a company to do such a thing and what could the reprocussions be? Fyi I'm still with the company 3 years later, but still don't really trust them if what they did was in fact illegal. I'm also no longer depressed
