IMEI BLOCKED, any solutions?
So I had my iPhone 5C for about a month now and it was working fine until now. It's registered as an IMEI blocked phone and I'm not able to get it unblocked since the previous owner owned it. I went to my friends and they think this might be a solution to it. Get a carrier unlock with IMEI. I'm not sure what this meant when they said that since they're different approaches to it. If I were to unlock my phone with IMEI, would I be able to use it on T-Mobile again? Or would the phone still be junk? I'm aware of you not being able to unblock your IMEI unless it's unblocked by T-Mobile and T-Mobile only, but they won't let me. So what would happen if I were to get an IMEI Unlock on my phone? Would I be able to still use it on T-Mobile? Phone is an iPhone 5C.
Go to the phone app and dial *#06# and then call the company and give them the code that pops up, they should do something with your phone then
No. The carriers share the imei blocked information between each other to prevent someone from activating a blocked phone on any network in the United States. Since they did not make all the payments on it, it is considered a stolen phone. A phone, that someone took and never paid for. Yea, it's annoying but it is stolen when you use the loose definition of stolen.
- Why can't my laptop recognize any apple device. Any solutions? I tried connecting my ipod nano and my iphone 4 to my laptop but "device was not successfully installed" keeps on popping out. I tried installing ITunes but "I tunes was not properly installed. If you wish to burn cd, please reinstall" keeps on popping up. - HUGE iphone troubles, any solutions? My iphone 4 does not charge unless its turned off, i looked up how to fix it, they said to try and put it in DFU mode(tried it), they said to clean the charging port(tried it). They said to try and restart your phone, except, i can't because my phone won't charge, hence it doesn't show up on itunes, i need help.
