Iphone 4 Fell In The Toilet?
My Iphone 4 fell in the toilet and was fully submerged for around 5-8 seconds. I then attempted to turn it on. The screen would light up a little then go black, I tried this around 4 times and then nothing would happen when I tried to turn it on. I dried it with a towel and is currently in a ziplock bag full of rice.
Is there any chance of it surviving?
Added (1). I heard you could get it replaced at apple for $200 as an out of warranty replacement but I'm in Australia so can I still do that? Can't find it on the website.

Yes! The rice thing weirdly does work!
No! You shouldnt have turned it on when it was wet! It usually blows a circuit or something? Keep it in the bag of rice for 2 days and see what happens. But because you turned it on it is very unlikely that it will work )
5-8 minutes is a long time in a toilet. Look for an alternative phone and be more careful in the future.
