IPhone 4 no longer has Internet connection unless I have Wi-Fi?

I have a IPhone 4 from straightalk and I have been using it for about 3 weeks and I love it. But now I can't do anything on it that involves Internet. I can't open my safari without Wi-Fi anymore. I can make calls and text but I can't browse it send pictures or use net active apps without connecting to Wi-Fi. What can I do?

Turn your 3G service back on.

Try resetting the network settings like someone said here.

If that doesn't work, you might have messed up your APN settings. APN settings basically tell the phone where to get data from.

Connect your phone to Wi-Fi, and go to www.unlockit.co.nz on your iPhone.
Click on "Create APN" at the bottom panel.
Select your country and your carrier, which in this case is Straight Talk.
Then hit the "Create APN" button.
Hit "Install" and allow the APN to install.

Turn off Wi-Fi and check to see if that solved it.

I have Net10 and this is what I had to do to get my iPhone to use data, even when calls/texts worked. This solved the problem.

Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network settings
- input your passcode if you have one
- hit reset network settings again
sorted, unless you've run out of your allowance. Then you need to contact StraightTalk

Note: While in "Reset" DO NOT touch any other resets apart from reset network settings

  • My Wi-Fi has no internet connection? So I'm on my iPhone (using 3G to be on safari right now) using my Wi-Fi when all the sudden there's no internet? I checked the router and re plugged in the router, and i shut down my phone and restarted it to no avail. I really don't want to use up all my 3G so I'm hoping you can help solve this issue of the strong wireless connection but lack of internet?
