Iphone 4 no sim card installed hacktivation
Long Story Short, i tried to upgrade my iphone 4 4.1 to 4.3.3 and it got stuck in recovery mode. When i kicked my iphone 4 out of recovery mode with RecBoot my iphone restarted itself and now its in the "no sim card installed" screen which i can't unlock because it is a locked iphone and i don't have the carrier's sim card. I used tinyumbrella to check the firmware version which is still on 4.1 so how can i hacktivate it? With redsnow?
Yes Redsn0w will activate it. Just run the jailbreak with Redsn0w and it will bypass the emergency call screen.

I have had my iPhone 3 for a little over a year, and it is hacked to be an AT&T GoPhone and it was in my pocket and I looked at it, and it said "No SIM Card Installed" and I reset the settings, turned it off, etc. I even took the SIM Card out.
