IPhone 4 slight water damage?
I accidentally held my iPhone under the tap and then quickly pulled it away. It worked fine at first but after a few minutes it turned off and it doesn't turn back on whatever I do. I've put it in a bowl of rice but I don't think that's gonna work. Is it possible to be repaired for around 50$? Not from apple tho (apple doesn't have store or service in my country.
It may take 3-4 days to dry out, remove the battery also as that needs to dry out too, water can ruin electronics, make sure its off until 3-4 days.
If your lucky, it could dry out & be ok, thoe most of the time, parts need replaced
- Why do they use slight knock off products on icarly? Why do they use slight knockoffs on icarly that are almost the same thing as the real product? For ex: they use Pear Phones instead of iPhones and Splashface instead of Facebook. If Nickelodeon gets permission from Facebook and Apple to use their product, can't they use the real thing?
- My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
- Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
- Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
