IPhone 4 won't charge properly? - 1

I have an iPhone 4. I didn't do anything to it, but today i went to charge it when my battery was dying. Then when it was at 75 percent i took it out. I played with a little, and then put it back on charge, except this time it wouldnt charge. I tried using a different cable, and that cable recognized my other apple device, but not my iPhone. I also attempted to plug it into my laptop to charge, yet it still wouldn't recognize the USB. So there was nothing wrong with my cable. I blew into the headphone port and searched for dust an tried to clean it, but i got nothing. Then i turned off my phone, and let it set there, still plugged in. Half an hour or so later, it went from 76 to 88 percent. Then i left it there like that another hour, and it went to 100 percent. However it is still not detected by my computer, and the symbol that shows it's charging won't show up. Any advice?

There's probably a problem in the place your cord goes to charge it the best thing to do is go to apple store or go to like if you have AT&T then there but have them check your inside of that because I think that's the problem the same thing happened to me.

What I suggest is that you change the battery because once I went to the beach and my iPhone got wet and when I'd put it on charge it would heat up but it's not about it getting wet, the point is, if it heats up while charging what I suggest is that first of all you get you battery changed and buy a new charging cable+adapter.

The part in the bottom were it plugs in is lose try to push back with a paper clip that is straight
